Way back in 2007, a pasta restaurant was born on 2nd Avenue—and now Tavolàta is celebrating its eighth birthday in Belltown! Ethan Stowell and the crew at Tavolàta are excited to celebrate, and as a way of saying thanks to all that have made the restaurant such a success, there’ll be lots of rigatoni!
On Monday, January12, Chippy’s is hosting Fremont Brewing for a night of fish and chips and beers! A representative from Fremont Brewing will be in attendance from 6 to 9pm to talk beer—and maybe even enjoy one or two.
The first Tavolàta Sunday Feast of 2015 will explore Piedmont, the northern Italian region known for its hearty dishes, love of truffles, and wonderful rich wines. This feast marks the start of a new series at Tavolàta with chef Addam Buzzalini— rather than focusing on a particular ingredient, 2015’s feasts will traipse through the delicious regions of Italy, taking guests on an in-depth culinary tour.

Chef Kyl Hasselbauer and Anchovies & Olives are putting on another divine Festa dei Sette Pesci this year. The traditional Christmas Eve meal will be held one day early, on Tuesday, December 23.
The December Feast at Tavolàta is all about everyone’s favorite crustacean: Lobster! Chef Addam Buzzalini has put together an incredible array of dishes that showcase lobster for the December 7 meal. The decadent dinner runs through seven takes on lobster—from ravioli to bisque—and ends with a huckleberry dessert.
Anchovies & Olives is celebrating oyster season with seven Sundays of briny delights. From November through May, the last Sunday of every month holds Pacific Northwest oysters paired with wines of from a different region of Italy.
On Sunday, November 9, ESR pastry chef Dionne Himmelfarb is putting on the ultimate chocolate cook-off at Tavolàta! Twelve pastry chefs will create a chocolate dessert—then the crowd and three guest judges will decide the winners. The cook-off starts at 6pm.
The November Feast at Tavolàta is full of hearty dishes that warm and comfort. The perfect way to welcome in the winter months. Chef Addam Buzzalini will serve a smattering of delicious plates that showcase braised meats, from rabbit ravioli to veal osso buco. Dinner will be served family style at the communal table and seating is limited to 26 guests.
Chef Addam Buzzalini has a great menu full of unique, savory dishes planned for the October feast. The October 12 dinner will begin at 6pm, and the menu includes duck pancetta, pheasant ravioli, and roasted squab, with a black currant dessert to finish.
