Serving Up James Beard at Staple & Fancy Mercantile

Raise Your Fork…and Funds to Benefit the James Beard Foundation Scholarship Program from September 1 through September 30, 2012

WHAT: In honor of the 25th anniversary of the James Beard Foundation, chef Ethan Stowell’s Staple & Fancy Mercantile will join restaurants across the country to pay homage to culinary pioneer James Beard and his influence on American cuisine and culture, from September 1 through September 30.

As a participant in the national Serving Up James Beard promotion, Staple & Fancy will donate $1 from each “fancy menu” sold to the James Beard Foundation Silver Anniversary Scholarship Drive, which supports aspiring culinary students in their pursuit of success in the hospitality industry.
