How to Cook a Wolf’s “Women in Wine” Dinner

Chef Michael and crew are excited to host a dinner celebrating women in wine with the ladies of Castello di Luzzano Estate in northwest Italy.

Where: How To Cook A Wolf
When: Wednesday, May 13
Cost: $150/person (including of tax and gratuity)
Reserve: 206.838.8090

Both Giovannella Fuggaza and Corinne Gazzola, from the illustrious Castello di Luzzano, will be in attendance. The Luzzano Estate lies in northwest Italy and straddles the line between Lombardy and Emilia Romagna—a region that has been known for winemaking since ancient times. The varied soils of the area are superb for the region’s typical varieties like Barbera and Bonarda, as well as other varietals like Pinot Nero, Chardonnay, and Malvasia. The Fugazza family arrived over a hundred years ago and took ownership of the castle and the estate, and descendant Giovannella now keeps the winery running with her knowledge and passion.

Her feminine touch is present in the winery’s products, and she’s well respected as one of the “First Ladies” of wine—her connection with the region runs deep and she is committed to respecting nature and letting the wines speak for themselves. Corinne Gazzola is the sales and marketing director of the winery.

It promises to be a delightful evening full of great food, wonderful wines, and lively conversation.
