Staple & Fancy Mercantile is about to get a salty new neighbor in The Kolstrand Building. We’d like to formally announce the opening of our latest restaurant: Chippy’s Fish & Drink. Chippy’s will be serving classic fish & chips alongside a bevy of old-school seaside specialties: Clam Chowder, Shrimp Louie, Crab Rolls, and Ethan’s Famous Fried Oysters, just to name a few.

The space (formerly Dutch Bike Co.) will seat about 18 on the floor with an additional 8 spots at the bar. Cocktails will be served. Eight beers on tap. It’s going to be A Great Plaice To Eat on Ballard Avenue.
