Introducing Marine Hardware
We quietly opened Marine Hardware last week in the old Chippy's Fish & Drink space next to Staple & Fancy, but it's time to make it official. We're open!
The name comes from the existing signage that's been there since the olden times (like Staple & Fancy) but the menu won't be exclusively seafood. Much like our older sibling next door, the best way to enjoy the menu is to let the chef take over with a six or eight course tasting menu—and if your lucky Ethan just might be in the house as well. He plans to cook alongside longtime ESR alumnus Michael Gifford who will be running the show.
“Gifford and I had a great time cooking together back at Union and I’m looking forward to working with him, and I’m really excited to get back in the kitchen – hopefully every week. One of the best things about being in the restaurants is interacting with the guest, and Marine Hardware is such an intimate space that I’ll get to cook and chat with guests.”

Marine Hardware will be open Wednesday through Sunday at 5PM. If you aren't in the mood for the tasting menu there will be an a la carte menu available daily and we still have a full bar—great place to drop in and grab a snack and a cocktail after work.
Hope to see you at Marine Hardware soon!
